Matthew Ponseti designs and installs gardens, lighting systems and irrigation, along with hardscapes and sub-surface drainage. Many
landscape companies can design a basic landscape; however, Matthew goes beyond. His designs are specifically created for each client. Matthew creates a cohesive relationship between the home and the garden.

Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. He is licensed as a Horticulturist, Landscape Contractor, and Arborist and in Ornamental and Turf Management.

AWARD WINNING LANDSCAPES

We have been designing New Orleans gardens for close to 20 years, having completed over a hundred complex landscaping jobs per year.

But more importantly than numbers, we have been taking pleasure in enhancing the unique southern beauty of our native city, New Orleans.

When we came back to town in September of 2005, after the evacuation, it was a shock to see our city turned into a place void of color. It was like a bad sepia picture - brown colors, brown gardens, and even brown smells.

We were passionate to bring back the colorful gardens and the smells of life to New Orleans. We sought to foster a mentality where one can stop and smell the roses, the gardenias, and marvel at beautiful front yards once again.

Our cultural ethics tell you more about Ponseti Landscaping than all of the expertise we have gathered over the past two decades of experience with local plants and people. A skilled landscaper knows his trade and tools, but we like to think of our genuine southern garden designs as art... Art deeply entwined with the soul of New Orleans.
